Since results are delayed again... here’s what I built
Results got delayed again, so might as well share what I built lol
Omu is a voice-first AI video editor that helps turn raw clips into polished videos in minutes. Just speak your edits and watch Omu edit your video in realtime. No more clicking through endless menus and save time by automatically removing silences/filler words, adding animated captions, and generating smart b-roll at the exact right moments.
Vibe editing is finally here with Omu. Would love your thoughts and feedback!

Nice! Built something similar with Skeet, though I leaned more into the NLE/Studio side of things. I didn't have time to put together a proper demo video before the deadline, but you can try the live tool at tryskeet.com.

Super. Very well done.
Did you consider webapp vs native at all? Are you not sacrificing UX because of it being web based? Or it being cloud, everyone has the same experience, even people with less powerful computers? I'm trying to understand from your experience.

Thank you Anil for the feedback !! Appreciate it
Great question and yes, definitely thought about web app vs native. In my experience, the tradeoffs were pretty small relative to the upside. Going web-based made Omu way more universally accessible and consistent across users, while removing the need for a powerful machine just to get started. It also scratched my own itch of wanting to edit a quick video on university or office computers where downloading apps isn’t always possible.
That said, I could definitely see a native version down in the roadmap for users who want a more advanced, power-user editing experience :)
Also am curious on what you built, Anil, feel free to share here!
