Video duration question
can a video that extends 3 minutes by 30 seconds be considered, because on the form it was stated that the video must be 3 minutes and judges might not watch it if it extends beyond 3 minutes, and reducing our video further below 3 minutes would mean cutting out some important scene and we have increased the speed to a reasonable value, please what can we do in this situation?

Hi there,
You are correct about what the rules say and that judges may not watch longer videos. You can watch other winning demo videos to see how other participants got creative to address a time cap on demo videos. I've seen sped up demos, cut out loading time, have login info ready to copy paste and speed up play time while watching you type, shorten or cut out lengthy intros and be sure to put the most important parts of your demo before the time cut off.
