Is OAuth login permitted for multi-user projects?
Hello,
The "What to Submit" section states projects "should be publicly accessible and not require a login or paywall." However, the Eligibility and Rules section says: "If Entrant's website is private, Entrant must include login credentials in its testing instructions."
These seem contradictory. My project has multi-user features that require authentication. Is Google OAuth acceptable, since judges can sign in with their own Google accounts without needing credentials from me? Or does "publicly accessible" mean no login of any kind?
It seems "no login" can't be literal, as that would disqualify any project with user accounts or personalized features.

Hi there,
Good question. You should provide a test login for judges as they will not use their own emails to login to your application. There is a submission form question: Testing Instructions. This question is only shown to the judges and Devpost managers and will not be shown publicly.
Please note that judges are not required to test the Project and may choose to judge based solely on the text description, images, and video provided in the Submission.
Good luck!
