Can we use ML/DL small models for task that are more optimiced for them due to the API free tier limits?

Good Afternoon. My question is correlated to use ML models for the project too, at the same time as using the Gemini 3 API. Also can we use other models from Google itself that maybe are not in AI Studio?

  As long as you meet the minimum requirements outlined in the rules and build with Gemini 3, your project will be eligible. You can build with any other tools, of course with the preference of integrating other Google products instead of competitor products. Take a look at the judging criteria to see what the judges will be scoring projects on. Good luck!
