Is PUBLIC code repository mandatory to participate in the hackathon?

The messaging is a bit ambiguous.

Somewhere in the Rules page, it says:
"URL to your PUBLIC code repository - required if you do not have an AI Studio link to your project."

But I read in one of the responses, that PUBLIC code repository is mandatory.

Appreciate if you can clarify.
Also, Is sharing private code repo with the judges an option?

I also have anthoer related question: is it possible to submit a AI studio link, which is a draft version, while the other submission materials (e.g. demonstration video) are based on local PRIVATE repository?

    Appreciate if you can clarify.

Below is the original rules: "Public Project Link: A URL to your working product or interactive demo. Consider using AI Studio apps, which are the fastest way to build prototypes using the Gemini API. This allows judges to experience your project firsthand, if applicable. It should be publicly accessible and not require a login or paywall.
URL to your PUBLIC code repository - required if you do not have an AI Studio link to your project"

    Hi there,

The official rules call for a PUBLIC code repo that is either published via AI Studio or another reo platform (if you don't provide an AI Studio link). Any projects only providing private repos will not qualify as eligible for judging as outlined in the official rules. You can view the official rules at https://gemini3.devpost.com/rules.

Is it not possible to give them access to the private repo?

Unfortunately not as the rules require public access and we need to to ensure fairness to all participants by abiding by the rules.
